Obituary of John Elmer Stobart

John (Jack) Elmer Stobart, beloved husband of Gloria M. Stobart of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2003 at the age of 78 years. He was born in Oakburn, MB on the first of July 1925. Jack was a Geological Engineer who worked in Regina, Trinidad, Bolivia, Louisiana, Calgary, and London, England. He was an avid pianist and supporter of the arts. Jack enjoyed traveling, walks, tennis, and golf. He had a wonderful sense of humour. Besides his loving wife Gloria, he will be lovingly remembered and truly missed by his three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Cindy of Perth, Australia, John and Linda of Houston, TX, David and Anne of North Vancouver; ten grandchildren; and his sister Phyllis Day and her family.
