Obituary of Joseph John Hauck

Joseph (Joe) John Hauck, beloved husband of Kay Hauck for fifty-two years, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at the age of 73 years. Joseph was born on February 13, 1930 in Mendham, SK where he received his education as well. He married Kay Ritsco on August 14, 1951 in Regina. Together they farmed in Saskatchewan until their retirement when they moved to Calgary in 1984. Joseph enjoyed playing cards, fishing, biking, lawn darts, pool and gardening. Joseph took great pride in his family and was a great family man who was happiest at family get togethers. Besides his loving wife, Joseph is survived by his children, Jody and Jane Hauck of De Winton, Sally and Neil MacLean, Allan Hauck, Kim Hauck and Lisa and Keith Deary, all of Calgary; and eight grandchildren Dalice, Dustin, Elise, Danielle, Laura, Jordan, Murray, and Ryan. He is also survived by three sisters and four brothers as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his parents and one brother. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church (711 – 37 Street NW), on Monday, December 1, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Alfredo Pereira, Presider.
