Obituary of Rhoda Bell Neleta MacGregor Steele
Rhoda Bell Neleta MacGregor Steele, beloved wife of Arthur, passed away peacefully at the Beverly Centre on Thursday, November 27, 2003.
Born in Glencoe, Pictou Co., NS, Rhoda was the daughter of the late Alexander William and Christy Bell (Robertson) MacDonald and her stepmother Jessie (Sharpe) MacDonald. Besides her husband Arthur, she is survived by daughters, Neleta (John) Steele of Calgary, Anne (Gene) Beitz of Athabasca and son Don (Joan) MacGregor of Calgary; as well as sister Bertha (Charles) Fraser, of Halifax; brother Wilbert (Marjorie) MacDonald of Lyons Brook, NS; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband John Wilbert MacGregor, brother Fred MacDonald and sister Kathleen Sutherland.
