You are in our thoughts at this time. Doreen’s bold, enthusiastic influence has been felt by her colleagues, students and community. She certainly taught by example. We loved her humour and her ability to cut to the chase. We will hold her memory fondly.

We were so saddened to hear of Doreen’s passing. I loved being on staff with her. She could make everyone’s worst day turn right around. I was so grateful when my own boys were in her classroom–all three of them. Their comments today were “good teacher” and “favorite teacher”!
