I sang with Armin first with Heimatecho in the 90’s and later when he sang with the German Canadian Male Chorus of Calgary for a while. I always enjoyed his conversation. He was good natured and witty and a pleasure to sit beside.
Andrew, My condolences on the passing of your father Armin. It was an honor to have known such a great person. I know that what you are going through right now is very difficult. May fond memories of your dad bring you comfort during this hard time. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact you were able to share these before he passed. Your Father was so proud of you and always talk about how much he enjoyed visiting you and Hunter in the States. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

Final release from several years of declining health may be a blessing but still not easy for family and friends. To Miranda and other family members – know that your father was a much loved friend, an avid aggressive and enthusiastic hiker. We treasure the legacy that he leaves. He is missed.
