Obituary of Dorothy June ELLIOTT

August 7, 1932 – Horsham, West Sussex, England May 9, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta Dorothy June Elliott passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on Monday, May 9, 2016. June was born in Horsham, West Sussex, England on August 7, 1932. She moved to Calgary in 1956 and called the city home for the rest of her life. In 1963 she married Michael John Elliott and they had two sons, David and Robert. June worked for 27 years at the Energy Resources Conservation Board before retiring in 1988 and was an active member of Wesley United Church. June was predeceased by Michael her beloved husband of 49 years in 2012. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her two sons David (Kelly) and Robert (Jacqui); and her five grandchildren, Brendan, Justin, Andrew, Kennedy, and Adrian. The family would like to thank the staff at Driving Miss Daisy, Walden Heights, South Health Campus, and the Sarcee Hospice for the compassionate care given to June in the final months of her life.
