Obituary of Robin Kim Liong KHO

1938 – 2016 Robin, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on April 4, 2016 at the age of 77. He was born in Fujian, China, and moved to Hong Kong as a young boy with his parents. After high school, he worked at his father’s import/export business, and later earned certification as a Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist. In 1974, he immigrated to Canada with his wife and four children. As a devoted son, his time was divided between Calgary and Hong Kong, where his parents resided. He enjoyed Chinese and classical music, reading, and cultivating bonsai plants. His many friends in Canada and abroad will miss his witty conversations and generous nature. He is survived by Rita, his wife of 54 years, children Maria (Franco) Lo, Paul, Margaret, Patrick, and grandchildren Jonathan and Justin. The family would like to thank the staff at the Brentwood Care Centre.
