Condolences
Brenda, Carol and Families,
Just returned from holidays and noted your Mum’s obituary. What an amazing life she had and she contributed so much to Carmichael and the choir. She often gave me a ride home after practice and we had such great conversations. How amazing that she lived to 102 and was able to share her enthusiasm for life and her lovely smile with so many people during her journey through life.
With our sympathy,
Norman and Sheila (McKay) Achtzener

Dear Carol My dad phoned and told me of your mother’s passing I am sorry. When I was told this memories of the times we spent at Regina beach your mother always treated me like one of the family.Your mother was always so proud of you. My love and prayers go out to you Brenda and Jan. This may not be the right time to ask but I would love to hear from you at some point. I still have wonderful memories from our younger years that we spent together, my 3 boys still remember the day we were at Calloway park. This may not be the right time but I would love to hear from.
Carol & Brenda, so sorry to read of your Mom’s passing. Mrs. B. was such a wonderful lady and a good family friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
Brenda
Sorry to read of your mother’s passing. I have such happy memories, that I share often with family and friends, of the times I spent at your Mom’s cottage at Regina Beach. She was always so involved in both you and Carol’s lives and so proud of both of you. Any time I would meet her, when she still lived in Regina, she would be quick to tell me how wonderful and smart her grandchildren were as well. A very strong and brilliant lady. I am sure she will leave a void in your lives but lots of great memories.
Jan and Carol- thinking of you and wishing that fond memories of Belle help to sustain you during this journey.
Hi Brenda and family. Wow…your Mom sounds like a great person. Thus, she will be even more missed. Thinking of all of you.

To the family of Mrs. Berenson:
I was saddened to see that your mother had passed. I knew your mother while she was working in the nursing dept at the Regina General Hospital. She was a fine person, full of knowledge and experience as a nurse and so very proud of being a nurse. I was always impressed by the fact she always wore her nursing cap . We enjoyed her humour and compassion for people.
To Brenda and the rest of the great family of Mrs. Berenson
Accept my condolences on the passing of your great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great matriarch. She was greatly blessed with longevity and with this comes tonnes of good memories to remember her by. May she find favour with her maker as she found here on earth.
Our deepest condolences to you and your family Carol.
Carol and Brenda,
I am so sorry to read of your mom’s passing. I thoroughly enjoyed my visits with her – and Ruth – at Extendicare during the past five years. I particularly enjoyed listening to some of her life stories and, on the rare occasion, hearing her sing – causing me to wish I would have been able to listen to her in her younger years. I know you will miss her but she has left you with a strong legacy and wonderful memories – cherish those.
Connie
Dearest Carol and Family,

With big love, and warm hugs,

So sorry to hear of Belle’s passing. What an amazing life she lived. To live for a full century, and then some, is not something that many of us will have the pleasure of experiencing. I still have a recipe card that Belle wrote out for “Delicious Cookies”. It has always held special significance to me and I will treasure it always. Sending you all warm thoughts.
