Many fond memories of visits with Doris and John in Nova

Scotia and Calgary.

Mom and I met Doris when Mom was living at the care house into which Doris moved. We only knew her for a short time but enjoyed her company and were privileged to attend her 100th birthday party. Funny to think we were neighbours in Britannia back in the day, but didn’t know each other. I know Bob and Ana took wonderful care of Doris and she always enjoyed her outings in the car with Bob. A life well lived.

I always enjoyed my visits with Doris – first when I was growing up in Nova Scotia, and more recently when I lived in Calgary for 13 years. It was great to attend her 100th birthday celebration a few years ago. Doris lived a long and good life, and will be missed.
