Obituary of Ronald James PEATCH

PEATCH, Ronald (Ron) James June 16, 1954 – Calgary, Alberta December 24, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Ron Peatch, beloved husband of Debbie Peatch, passed away suddenly in Calgary on December 24th, 2015. In the summer you would often find Ron outside enjoying his favourite pastime, gardening. Whether it be planting new perennials or relocating existing plants and bushes, he was always busy outside. Ron also had a passion for weather and meteorology. His family thought he should have been a meteorologist, especially after being able to predict the Calgary floods in 2013. In the winter, he looked forward to escaping the cold by traveling to warmer climates. With his wife, Debbie and sister, Brenda they traveled to Australia, Mexico, Jamaica, Cuba and Costa Rica to name a few. Ron was also an avid sports fan. He eagerly supported both the Calgary Flames and Stampeders from the comfort of his living room. Ron is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Debbie Peatch; daughters Amy (Shaun) Cowan and Amanda (Corey) Gibson; grandchildren, Claire, Cruz, and Adelyn; his mother, Jean and sister, Brenda. He is predeceased by his father, Bill.
