Condolences
Connie, Growing up next to you in Fairview has given me many fond memories from my early years. You and Brian were the best people to have as neighbors. From the homemade cookies early on, to the endless hockey games in your driveway later, you were an important part of our lives and have helped shape us into who we are today.
Brian was always easy to talk to and still offered advice to me at Dads retirement party. I may not have always followed his advise, but it was nice to have it given to me.
Our thoughts are with you and the boys as we share in your loss of Brian.

Our sincerest of condolences to Connie & family at your loss. My dad Gordon Ferguson and Brian started on the same day in 1961 with the Calgary Police, and we always thought very highly of Brian. Connie, it was great becoming your friend as well at the Fleischmann’s Christmas parties over 20+ years, and Darren enjoyed being your co-worker as well. Darren and I always thought the world of the two of you, always such a pleasure to be around you both. Heartfelt sorrow and love your way. Karen & Darren Lundy
Connie, we were saddened to hear of Brian’s passing and wish to extend our sincere condolences to you, Trevor, Greg and family. We very much enjoyed being neighbours with the Olsens in the early years on Mt Victoria. Sadly we have not stayed in closer contact since those years, but our family has many memories of Brian’s kindness and generosity. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Connie, Brian is a true gentleman. I knew him both as an officer and hockey player. He was always considerate of people, a strong and determined man yet humble in his approach to all. He was a man I always felt comfortable to approach if I had a question or challenge and knew that he would receive me kindly. He is and always will be a good man.
Connie and family, I had the great privilege of working closely with Brian in C District and was honored to enjoy his leadership and friendship for many years. His example helped me to learn how to deal with all we did with kindness and consideration and he will be missed!!!
With Uncle Brian’s passing our family and the world lost a beautiful person. His warmth and kindness will never be forgotten.
It is said that you may not remember what someone said or what they did, but you always remember how they made you feel. Uncle Brian always made us feel really good and brought smiles to our faces.
From myself, Sherri, Brodie, & Tysen we offer our deepest sympathies and condolences.
Connie,
Brian and I were old friends dating back to school in East Calgary and later at Western Canada High. Later we renewed our friendship in many areas with CPS. We played hockey together and were partners in the old drug squad. Brian was a very special man as you well know. I am so very sorry for your loss. You and your family were very blessed to have Brian as a special part of your lives together. God Bless you all.
Brian was a prince of a fellow and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He and I used to kid each other a lot: All in good fun of course. I will always remember him. His passing will leave a void in the lives of many. Connie, Greg and Trevor: You can be very proud him.
