Obituary of Francis Frank Hugh GIBNEY

December 17, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta
Francis “Frank” Gibney of Calgary passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the age of 87 years.
Frank worked in the dairy industry from 1950 until retirement. His life was centered around his family. Frank was a devout Catholic and was very generous in various charities.
Frank is survived by his children, Wally, Frank, Paul (Patty), Maureen, Joe (Teena) and Marianne (Randy) Bates; his grandchildren, Jonathon, Kristen (Jared) Williamson, Danielle, Nicole and Cameron; and great-grandchildren, Eden, Shelby, Daxton and Ezra, all of Calgary.
Frank is also survived by his siblings, Noreen (Lawrence) Dubois of Brandon, MB, and Bernard (Leona) of Calgary; sisters-in-law Winnie and Gwen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was predeceased by his wife Marian; daughter Margaret; and siblings, Clem, Mary, Tom, Wilfred, Joseph, Rita, Margaret, Charles, Hubert and Terrence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street and Northmount Drive N.W.) on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
