Condolences
Farewell Old Friend & fellow Moonriser.
Your mentorship, humour, and adverting acumen will long be remembered.
Sincere condolences to Freda and family.
My deepest sympathies go out to you Freda and your family. Met Gordy as Charter Founders of the Moonrisers Breakfast Club back in 1976 where he shared his wisdom, charm and humour every Thursday morning. Miss you !
Gordon’s family … I am so sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing. I knew him through the Bow Valley Toastmasters Club and his work at the Mustard Seed. He had that wonderful voice that took over the room every time he spoke. He inspired many Bow Valley members who became much better speakers and who used their skills to improve their lives in so many ways.
He initiated the Speechcraft program at the Mustard Seed. To me and the other volunteers who helped with the program, it completely changed our views of the homeless and near homeless. I think we all learned to understand their skills, their humour and above all, their resilience. From the feedback we got, I am sure we made a difference in their lives. Gordon was rightly proud of what he started there.
Again, past and present Bow Valley members send our deepest sympathy to all of his family. He will be remembered and missed.
Dear Freda: We are so very sorry to learn of Gordon’s passing. We will always remember his caring kindness and brilliance when we first worked with him at Albi Homes. Please know you are in our Prayers. Take care and God Bless, Tom and Debra

So sad to read of Gordon’s passing. Altho we lost touch long since I remember him as one of the nicest men I ever met. We occasionally would run into each other at Lakeview Plaza and would always stop and have a chat. Have missed seeing him there recently.
My deepest sympathies, Freda.
With love,
Eileen Anderson
