Condolences
Wonderful tribute to a wonderful lady. May your many memories of her continue to warm your hearts. God Bless
My condolences to the family of Eva Landeen. I know Jerry very well through my grandmother’s marriage to Doug Landeen. Grandma Kay Landeen just passed away on November 27th. All the Landeens I have met are wonderful people and I am happy to have known them. May you take solace in knowing your mother is recognized as belonging to a great family. May she rest in peace.
Dear Val: So sorry to hear about Eva. As stated, she lived a wonderful life. It is very hard to lose a parent but their memory and spirit will always be with you. May God Bless You and Yours and give you the comfort of knowing Eva is in a better place now with all her loved ones that passed before.
Our deepest sympathy to you. Gail & Bill
val sorry to hear of your loss mothers are very special
Val, Rick and family: What a lovely tribute to your Mom. I remember with gratitude and laughter the many hours spent in your basement, Val. Your Mom and Dad were great sports about all the coming and going and especially the noise and the music. I know how much you will miss her but know what a great daughter you were. Always caring for her no matter what. Just know that she is with your Dad in a better place. Love Donna Swales – Whitehorse
Beautiful obituary, Val. Aunt Eva is so deserving of these loving words. She is in my heart and I know she is with her siblings waiting for us. Her heart lives on within her children and theirs. Rest in peace, Sweet Aunt. Give Mom a hug and kiss from me. Love, Brent & Flo
Thank you for the beautiful gift of what Motherhood is all about.
I feel so blessed to have known Eva for most of my life. As a teenager I always felt so welcome and accepted into her home and her life. She was my second Mom and taught me about unconditional love and gentleness. I will always treasure the times spent there on sleepovers and enjoying the amazing food she prepared. Eva truly had an uplifting spirit and it was always a joy to be around her. Her memory with alway be with me and she will certainly be a special angel in heaven. My love and condolences go out to her beautiful family.

Valarie & Family,
It was a pleasure to know and be a nurse to your precious mother. I will miss her dearly, she will always hold a special place in my heart.
With my deepest sympathy.
Take Care & God Bless…
As I reflect on the many, many days/weeks spent at the Landeen home (Mostly in the basement) as a teenager, waves of memories flood back. Of the new years parties, of continual music on the 45 player, of Jerry’s dad attempting to introduce guitar playing to Jerry on the winds of beer, of hiding George’s dad’s whiskey under the front porch and Jerry’s dad finding the stash, but mostly the beginning of life long friendships with many young people. The Landeen home was the magnet of life.
