Obituary of Marion Frances WINTERS

WINTERS, Marion Frances May 14, 1928 – Minitonas, Manitoba November 25, 2015 – Okotoks, Alberta Marion Frances (Grandma Fran) Winters passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Fran was born in Manitoba, where she taught school for many years and then moved to Calgary in 1993. She loved to learn, travel and was a caring volunteer for many organizations. Fran will be lovingly remembered by her children, Blaine (Marg) and Rhonda (Dennis), her grandchildren D’neile (Dan), Kevin (Crystal), Tim (Denise) and Amy (Chris), her great-grandson Theron, nieces and nephews, and her many friends. Fran was predeceased by her husband Lorne, and her son Brady, may they rest in peace together. A Memorial Service will be held at McDOUGALL UNITED CHURCH (8516 Athabasca Street S.E.) on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through .
