Obituary of Joyce ELDER

November 1, 1926 – Granby, Quebec November 7, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Our beloved mother and grandmother, Joyce Elder of Calgary passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Her children and grandchildren are most humbled and grateful to know that they were loved and that family was the most important part of Joyce’s life. She will be remembered as a genuine and fashionable lady, and for her great sense of humour and poise. Joyce will be forever remembered by her loving family; children, Susan, Bob (Eleanor), Karen (Allen) and Diane (Doug); grandchildren, Julie, Scott, Gentry, Nichole, Carson, Lucas and Nathan. Joyce will also be affectionately remembered by her many dear friends. We know that her husband of 63 years, Norman, will be waiting and looking out for her. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
