Obituary of Lorraine Marie WILLISCROFT

WILLISCROFT, Lorraine Marie (nee Archambault) November 23, 1932 – Vulcan, Alberta October 30, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Lorraine Marie Williscroft passed away peacefully at Southwood Hospice, at the age of 82 years, surrounded by family on October 30th, 2015. Beloved wife of Jim R. Williscroft, Lorraine was born in Vulcan, Alberta on November 23, 1932 to Rita and Eli Archambault of Blackie, Alberta. Lorraine enjoyed many years of service working in nursing homes in Alberta as well as Manitoba. She had many wonderful friendships including years of shared enjoyment in travelling throughout Canada and the US. Her hobbies included camping, quilting and sewing. Lorraine was an avid gardener, loved baking and had a wonderful sense of humor. Her faith helped her cope with a difficult diagnosis with courage, grace and dignity. She is also survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law: David and Lori, Gerry and Deborah, Ken and Cindy and daughter and son-in-law Betty and Steve Coneybeare, 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way. Lorraine is also survived by her brother Stan, and his wife Fran Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Blvd S.W.) on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through .
