Dear Janice, Jackie, Michelle and families,
Your Mom was a beautiful and sincere woman.
I met her when I started working with her in Lacombe as a young woman in my 20’s. Immediately she made me feel at home and welcome. I learned so much from her about working with and for people. Sharon was about respect and dignity for her clients and honestly, that is hard to come by.
I got to spend so much time with her and Gerry and the girls. I lived in Red Deer and she would insist I stay over after my late shift so I would be more rested for my morning shift – of course that was never the case in a house of night owls! It was a pajama party everytime ; so much fun and I was made to feel so welcome and loved.
I got to live through all the music loves, hair styles, fashion statements, and pets not to mention the fantastic gourmet food ever present in the home. And it was always a home; always welcome, always loving and always shelter from the storm outside.
Later when I married, Dennis and my boys were gifted with the same love and kindness.
Sharon and Gerry and family visited us several times in the Yukon and I know both loved it here as much as we do. We were so lucky and happy to have them in our lives.
Sharon is forever in my heart, I will love her and her family always,
