Condolences
Dear Fred, Sheri and family,
I was so shocked to hear of Lil’s passing! Thank you Fred and Sheri for letting me know. I only knew Lil through our “haircut” sessions for many years but I will miss out great conversations and laughs! Lil had a big personality which I will remember fondly. I am so glad you have a close loving family to help you cope with this huge, traumatic loss.

Dearest Fred and family, I came across Lil’s obituary by accident, but I believe it was no accident. Harvey (Dick) and I send our most heartfelt condolences and love to you Fred, and also to you, Lil’s Children and treasured Grandkids! With my parents’ Ernie and Rita Lund, we celebrated many Retired Police Vet Christmas parties together with this beautiful, charismatic, funny, interesting, always entertaining, energetic, loving, lady. She made you feel like you should get up and get on with enjoying life..Right Now! I’m sure she and Moose are having a great time together! Hugs and love always “Lovely Lil,” and do come to the farm and visit us Fred when you are ready.
Hugs, Laurette and Harvey xx00
I’m so sorry to hear of cousin Lil passing. I still have fond memories as child of our big family gathering in Riversdale and in later years the trips she and Aunt Isabel had coming to Nova Scotia to visit with us all.
My deepest sympathy.
Fred and all your family, Walter and I want to express our sincere sympathy to all of you. We had many good laughs and interesting coffee times with Lil, she will be so missed at our Monday morning coffee time and Friday morning cards. We hope that you will come join us soon for Monday coffee Fred, until then, may you find comfort and peace and remember Lil with a smile as that is how we will always think of her.
Sheri, Tony and family,
We are so sad that Lil will no longer be with us. We will always think of her at our family dinners. She was always sharing laughs and caring for everyone. My boys will always remember grandma Lil and be lucky to have had her in their lives.
She will be greatly missed and forever remembered .

Mom’s last weeks were very difficult, but she handled them with grace and never lost her quick wit. She spent her life being selfless and caring for others so I was grateful for the opportunity to help a little, and to love her. Her family was everything to her and we will miss her greatly. There is a void that will never be filled, but her spirit is with us. She would want us to live our lives to the fullest, just as she did.
Rest in Peace Mom,
We Love You,
Debbie, Danny, Ryan, Jared and James

I was so sorry to hear about Lil. I’m glad that you are all together now, it helps so much to have the family near. Mom and the kids in our family all send their sympathies to all of you.
Your cousin,
Heather
To say Grandma Bakoway had a booming personality is to fall short. She filled every room she entered with her warmth and spirit, touching the lives of those fortunate enough to have known her. As one of her Grandchildren I had the privilege to be a part of her life, and my own life will be more complete because of that.
We miss you, and we will carry you in our hearts forever.
