Obituary of Patrick Conrad PETERSON

July 7, 1988 – Calgary, Alberta August 29, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Patrick at the very young age of 27. Patrick lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the South Health Campus. For the last 2 years, Patrick showed such tremendous courage and strength that those around him sometimes forgot he was ill. He was able to accomplish some things on his bucket list the most important being his marriage on October 31st, 2014 to his beautiful Justine and then choosing his beautiful dog, Stella. Patrick is survived by his wife Justine, his dog Stella and cat Yoda, his parents Dwayne and Verna, his brother Steven, his paternal grandparents Barry and Sheila, his Aunt Donna and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends especially, Derrick and Chris. We would like to thank the medical staff of Unit 66 for their care of our boy in the last days of his life and for all those on Unit 57 at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre who played such a big part over the last 2 years in trying to save our Patrick. Special thanks to Dr. Tina Cheng and his favourite nurses, Steph and Ghalia. Patrick’s greatest love, other than Justine, was his pets, Bridgette (his first dog), his beloved cat Ripper, and of course Stella and Yoda. So, in lieu of flowers, donations in his name to the SPCA or any animal adoption organization would be greatly appreciated. A celebration of Patricks life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street S.E.) on Sunday, September 6th, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through .
