McDONALD, Christopher (Chris) April 13, 1955– Calgary, AB May 20, 2015 – Calgary, AB Christopher (Chris) McDonald, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the age of 60 years surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Calgary, AB Chris worked for Sears for over twenty five years and brought his commitment to customer service to his own business, Dr. Sewing Machine. He was ambitious and hardworking, loved his family more than anything in the world and laughed at every turn. He will be lovingly remembered as a brother, a father, a grandfather and a friend. Chris is survived by his daughters Allison and Jesse Michaud and Barbara and Tim Price; his son Michael McDonald and his treasured granddaughter Sydney Michaud. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Susan and Tony Way and Debbie Braun and Darin Iwanicha; his brother Steven and Mel McDonald; his niece and nephews and their families, Elliot (Jen), Pam (Dave), Justin (Tara) and Shane and his numerous extended family and friends. Chris was predeceased by his partner Ruth Reid in 1980 at the age of 23 years and his mother Pat McDonald in 2009 at the age of 71 years.
