Obituary of Ruth Anna ANGUS

April 28, 1922 – Wainwright, Alberta September 27 2018 – Calgary, Alberta Ann Angus of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the age of 96 years. Ann was born in Wainwright, AB where her family farmed for several years. She was predeceased by her first husband, James (Jim) O’Keefe, who died at a young age serving his country in WWII. She eventually moved to Calgary where she met her husband of sixty-three years, William (Bill) Angus. Together they raised three sons and enjoyed the arrival of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ann loved her family and was very proud of each and every one. She was always happiest when spending time with her family and welcomed every new addition with a big heart and open arms. She was a treasure on earth and now she’s an angel off on a new adventure. Ann will be missed dearly by her entire family, including nieces and nephews. Ann is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Dick and Elizabeth, Terry, and Bill and Karen; grandchildren, Bob, Sean, Mike, Jason, Kerri, Graham and Barbra; along with several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William, and her sister Inez Brebber of Nanaimo, BC. A private family gathering will take place at a later date to celebrate Ann’s life at which time she’ll be laid to rest beside her husband, William.
