Condolences
Peggy I just got back to Calgary so was sorry that I could not make Peter’s memorial service. I always enjoyed working with Peter on the SASC accounting issues.
Dear Peggy
This is a voice from long ago, from Rambler camping trips, from when you and Peter first got together. I was near your old house last Sunday, thought of you and asked a friend how you were doing when she drove me to an appointment Tuesday. That’s when she told me about Peter.
My sincere condolences to you, Peggy, and to your family.
Dear Peggy,David and Robbie
My deepest condolence, in the sad loss of Peter. Not only was he a good husband and father and grandfather. He was also a good brother and friend. I will miss having a conversation with him on the phone. He was always cheerful and looked on the bright side of life.
All our love, Paul , Ann and Emma

Peggy, deepest sympathies to you and your family. Sad to hear of Peter’s passing. I have fond memories of painful pre-ski conditioning with Peter as well as great ski days.
He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
We are so sorry Peggy to hear of your loss. Peter was always a delight to be around and we will miss his humour and enthusiasm on the ski hill.

Peggy, how very sorry we were to learn of Peter’s passing. We will miss his cheerful face, his sense of humour and his joy of life. His help with my fumbling attempts to handle accounting and spreadsheets will always be fondly remembered.
He was a true gentleman – May he Rest in Peace.
Peggy, Peter’s passing really did hit close to home for me. We were almost the same age and when I think of the SASC, you and Peter would spring to mind as I was one of the legion of fans of his quick wit, ready laugh and joie de vivre. I always thought that your calm, serene demeanor must have been a wonderful foil for his boisterous nature.
He will be missed!
Fondly
Dick Wilson

I am deeply saddened to learn of Peter’s passing. He was one of my favourite fellow-members of the Seniors’ Alpine Ski Club. He was always cheerfully willing to assist with the necessary tasks of running the Club, of which he had been a member since its earliest days. Peter was immensely helpful in taking on the Treasurer’s position at what turned out to be a particularly difficult time in the Club’s history. I will always treasure my memories of his irrepressible good humour, and of skiing and socializing with Peter and Peggy. I offer my sincere condolences to Peggy and the family.
Peggy, I was so sorry to learn of Peter’s death. His good humour and optimism brightened all our SASC social events. He will be greatly missed.
With deepest sympathy,
Bev Horn
I will always remember Peter as a true gentleman of wit and character with a twinkle in his eye. I will miss him at the Senior Alpine events.
We will miss Peter’s great sense of humor and pleasant smile. Our deepest sympathy is offered to Peggy and family in this time of sorrow.
Dear Peggy,
My condolences to you and your family. I didn’t know Peter well but I’ll remember him from the trip to Peru as a kind, curious, adventurous participant with a great sense of humor. Later on I enjoyed our little chats when we happened to meet at the CO-OP. I feel for you and with you in your loss of Peter.
Should you wish to meet up one day (coffee at the CO-OP maybe) you can call me.
With sympathy and best regards,
-Hjordis
