Obituary of Peggy Christina HAUGE

1920 – 2014 Peggy Hauge passed peacefully on Sunday December 14, 2014 at the age of 94 years. Peggy was born in Calgary to John and Annie Campbell and at four years of age, Peggy became a world traveler when she accompanied her mother and two siblings on a trip to her parent’s home land in the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. Peggy lived in Calgary her entire life. After graduation from Crescent Heights High School, she worked in the drapery department at the downtown Eaton’s store for a number of years. Peggy was married to Arne Hauge on October 28, 1950 and spent her time as a homemaker and dedicated mother to their children. Peggy was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church and especially loved her times singing in the choir and choral groups. She was also actively involved at First Baptist Church for many years. Peggy enjoyed her friends at the Canyon Meadows Retirement Residence while keeping track of her family, grandchildren and great grandchild who were a very special part of her life. Peggy will be missed by her daughter Barb Hauge, son Keith (Cindy) Hauge, her grandchildren Dennis Hauge, Christina (Derek) Mazur, Melissa (Jeff) Bechthold and Leanne Hauge; great grandchildren Myah, Hayden, Braxton Mazur and Mike Fowler; niece Heather (Edgar) Andrews; nephew Gordon (Carol) Campbell; their families and many wonderful friends. Peggy was predeceased by her loving husband Arne of 33 years; her parents John and Annie Campbell; her brother John (Jean) Campbell and sister Anna (William) Murray. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
