Obituary of Helen Margaret Nixon

December 27, 1935 – January 5, 2020

Helen Margaret Nixon of Calgary, Alberta, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the age of 84 years.

Beloved daughter to the late Samuel and Grace Cassar.  She was a loving mother to her children Joanne and Kent Mathewson, the late Bruce Nixon, Karen and Drew Rendall, and Lisa and Rob Milnthorp.  Helen (Nuna) will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Joanne and Kent’s son, Kyle Mathewson, and Lisa and Rob’s children Scott, Luke, Sean and Madison Milnthorp.  Helen was a cherished sister to Frank Cassar and his wife Marion, predeceased Vince and Ada Cassar, Mary Ann and David Dell’Angelo and Barbara Cassar.  Helen’s beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
