Obituary of Frantisek (Frank) VACLAVEK

Frank Vaclavek, beloved husband of Alena Vaclavek (nee Lipovska) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the age of 91 years. 

Frank was born in Olomouc, Czech Republic, on February 20, 1929. He immigrated to Canada in 1969. Frank and Alena married in 1966. Frank was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed activities such as hunting, camping, hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing.

Besides his loving wife Alena, Frank is survived by his two daughters and one son-in-law, Yvetta Vaclavek, and Babetta and Dan Wandler of Calgary, AB; five grandchildren, Olivia of Spokane, WA, and Colton, Isabella, Tatiana, and Alexis of Calgary, AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Frank was predeceased by his parents; his son Otakar Vaclavek; nephew Maximillion Vaclavek; as well as his brothers.
