Obituary of Ahmet BAYKAN

Ahmet Baykan of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the age of 74 years.

Mr. Ahmet Baykan was born on January 20 1946 in Nigde, Turkey, and moved to the United States at the age of 17 where he studied petroleum engineering at the University of Tulsa. After graduating in June 1968, he started his career as a petroleum engineer in Tulsa, Oklahoma, before moving to Calgary in November 1972. He was admired and respected by his colleagues, friends, and family for his endless dedication, generosity, and benevolence to all living things.

He is survived by his four children: 24-year-old triplets, Altay Baykan, Artun Baykan, Selin Baykan, and his 20-year-old son Kayra Baykan.
