Obituary of Deidre Heidi Lynn WRIGHT

June 2, 1998 – Woodstock, New Brunswick

April 4, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Deidre Wright of Airdrie Alberta, sadly passed away unexpectedly on Saturday,  April 4, 2020 at the age of 21 years.

Deidre was born in Woodstock, New Brunswick on June 2, 1998 and she moved to Alberta in 2006 with her family.

Deidre will always be remembered for her generous, kind, compassionate and loving free spirited nature.

Deidre loved animals, especially her black lab Murphy, who would have been the first to greet her on April 4 with loving kisses. She enjoyed horseback riding and her favourite saying was "eyes up, heels down, shoulders back, move forward.  You can do anything".

Deidre is survived by her mother Angela (Anthony Dunlop) of Airdrie, Alberta, father Brent (Michelle Wright) of Sherwood Park, Alberta, brother Zachary Wright of Sherwood Park, Alberta and half-sister Isabel Turnbull of Fredericton, New Brunswick.

She is also survived by her maternal grandparents Dale and Darlene Pike of Temperance Vale, New Brunswick; paternal grandparents Robert and Sandra Wright of Pokiok, New Brunswick; step-grandmother Hazel Dunlop of Airdrie, Alberta and step-grandparents, Eric (Ric) and Theresa Bishop. Deidre will be deeply missed by all her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Deidre was predeceased by her step-grandfather Hugh Dunlop.
