Randy and Theresa thank you for writing such a wonderful obituary. I just found out today of Jeff’s passing from someone from the neighbourhood. I’ve been out of loop with the lock down and all. Capucine said it perfectly... when Jeff laughed he laughed with his whole body. I only knew Jeff from chatting with him at the Riverstone but within a short time of knowing him I could tell that he was a great man with a great character. I’m very saddened to hear of his passing. Thanks again for the great obituary. Sorry for your loss.

Jeff was a huge part of our Riverstone family. A genuinely lovely human being.

When Jeff laughed, his whole body laughed!! He was a good soul. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He always

looked at the bright side of things, no matter what the situation. He was polite and a true gentleman.

Our condolences go out to his family and all those people that Jeffrey touched. I'm super grateful for all the hugs I received from Jeff. Nice memories of a beautiful person.

I was so very shocked and saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. He always met me with an easy smile and kind words. He was a very sweet soul. He will be so missed on earth.

I went to 4th Spot a lot with friends and it always brought a huge smile to my face when I saw Jeff there. He was such a pleasant uplifting man which made him such a pleasure to be around. The world has lost him way too soon and this is certainly a huge loss to all of us. I wish his family well. RIP

My husband and I met Jeff at 4th Spot Kitchen. We always commented that he was so friendly and yet professional. He always, always called us by name and that of our entire group. I will never go to 4th Spot with out thinking of Jeff. Rest in peace.

We met Jeff when he was in our son Matt and daughter in law Ashley's wedding party. He was supportative, funny and genuine, and our son counted him as his best friend. We immediately loved Jeff, and he will be sadly missed by so many.

My wife & I were regulars at Jeff’s bar at the 4th Spot Restaurant & got to know him as very warm & friendly. We’ll miss him & our condolences to his family. When this Covid crap is over I’ll look forward to meeting with his other friends & family to share memories.

Jeff used to call me "Danimal" and it was my favourite! I'm so grateful to have known him for so many years and to have shared more adventures than I can count. He was a shining example to everyone that he met how to live in the moment and not to be afraid to spark up a conversation with a random stranger. He was one of those rare souls that gave you their full attention and made every moment fun. Mr. Uz will always have a special place in my heart. I'm so blessed to have known him!
