Condolences
I was so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was President of Sproule in the 70s when I started there and he saw us through bad times (NEP) as well as good times. He was a good man.
It is with great sadness that we hear of Tony's passing. The Robinson Clan (Glenn - deceased, Garda, Peter and Patty) send our condolences to Tony's family and friends. He shall be missed.
We are very sorry to read that Tony has passed away. He was a fine man with great experience, kind words and a wonderful attitude. Although I had not seen him in many years, the good memories never faded. Our very best wishes to Eloise and the family, he was a great man.

A TRIBUTE
My wife, Sheila, and I wish to offer the Edgington Family our sincere condolences on the passing of our dear, longstanding friend, Tony Edgington.
I had the privilege of meeting Tony in the offices of J.C. Sproule & Associates over 60 years ago, and as the years passed, I discovered many special qualities about this remarkable man. He had a “Touch of Class”, sincerity and consideration for others, impeccable manners and an aristocracy that had nothing to do with wealth. Tony and Eloise loved to sail, and together with my wife Sheila, we loved our travels to the West Indies and New Zealand with them for sailboat racing. We also enjoyed many wonderful evenings of Scottish dancing and birthday celebrations together as Tony and Sheila celebrate the same birthdate, June 1st. His lifetime was filled with many friendships and activities, and he will be sorely missed.

An honest man here lies at rest,
As e’er God with His image blest:
The friend of man, the friend of truth;
The friend of age, and guide of youth:
Few hearts like his, with virtue warm’d,
Few heads with knowledge so inform’d:
If there’s another world, he lives in bliss;
If there is none, he made the best of this.

My sincere regrets that Tony has passed away. He was a very nice man, a good friend and a wonderful person to work for. I had the pleasure of working with Tony for 9 years. We worked together at Petford Resources and Ripple Resources. I enjoyed our many Friday afternoon "beers" , several "lunches out" a year and a healthy office atmosphere all the time. Tony was fond of African Violets and had many flowering in his office. When he traveled, he made sure his violets would receive the love and attention he gave them when he was in town. I was only too happy to water them, turn them to the sun and talk to them - as Tony would do. I was happy to call Tony a friend. I am sad now. Rest easy, my friend.
