Obituary of Sarah BRADY

May 3, 1931 – Coatbridge, Scotland
June 26, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Sarah Brady, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the age of 89 years. 

Sarah was born in Coatbridge, Scotland on May 3, 1931 and immigrated to Canada with her brother Danny Doyle. She settled in Montreal, QC. 

Sarah married Patrick Brady and was widowed in 1976. Shortly after his passing she moved to Calgary, AB in 1977 to start over with her sons. 

Sarah is survived by her two sons, Dan Brady and John Brady of Calgary, AB. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews on the Brady side of the family in eastern Canada whom she visited in Ontario frequently. Sarah loved traveling to New Zealand to visit Her niece Terri Doyle.

Sarah enjoyed traveling so much and sadly her health didn't allow travel in her later years. 

Sarah spent time with her close friends, Barbara Akai, Brian and Margaret Fung, with whom on many a Saturday she joined for breakfast and shopping, as well as Lennox Bentley(Barb’s spouse) with whom she enjoyed his ‘magical mystery tours’.

She will be greatly missed. 

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Teresa place and Father Lacombe care for taking care of her for the last couple of years of her life.
