Condolences
Our condolences to the Flanagan Family. I remember staying at his house and Herb came up to me around dinner time and asked if I would like a Caesar? Salad? I said!! Herb quickly said NO! A Drink called a Caesar! Like your Bloddy Mary but made with Clamato Juice!! Tasty I might say…
Thanks Herb! Warm heart and soul that will be missed by many. Cheers to you Herb!
We were so sorry to hear of Uncle Herb’s passing….sincere sympathy to all of you. May your love and support for each other sustain you through this sad time. Al remembers a great time at Emma Lake many years ago…Uncle Herb left the campfire and joined Al in the cabin…guess they both preferred to watch football…..Calgary was playing! Thinking of all of you……
God needs to make room for another great Irishman. He will surely be welcome as he was everywhere he went. My time with Herb was at the UofS from 1947 to 1952 and I remember those days so well. Rest In Peace Herb

Your dad – grampa friend mentor uncle brother – was a kind and generous soul and even though he suffered such deep and painful losses – as did all of you – he put his family first and we saw his deep caring and love for all of you.
