Dear Jeanne and Aubrey,
We are so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Our most sincere condolences.

At a very early age, certain individuals stood out to me. People with a transparently beautiful value system, who were so dedicated to their work and equally loyal to their families. Who worked hard to make a home and make a difference in their profession. They handled whatever life handed them with patience, dignity and in such a way, that I infinitely admired.
I not only saw, but felt their impact. They made the world a better place.
There are just a few people that even to this day, I look up to and will alway have in my heart as role models.
Uncle Gary, was and IS one of these people. What an exceptional gentleman. He was not a man who sought attention, but when he did speak he added such value to the conversation. He was kind and witty, with such a calm presence. He worked hard to support the ones he loved and took joy in the simple pleasures in life. His empathetic way with animals and his gentle laugh will be remembered forever.
He loved his family with his whole heart. It was inspiring to witness.
What an amazing role model.
I love Uncle Gary and will miss him dearly.
We will all miss him dearly.
Love

Hi Jeannie and Aubrey
From Carol and I our sincere condolences. Gary and I spent some special times together at U of A. My thoughts of those times will always be etched with thoughts of Gary with that amazing sense of humour and mischievious smile. A life not forgotten.

Hi Jeanne & Aubrey,
My deepest condolences to both of you -- quite shocking to learn of Gary's passing.
I fondly remember many happy hours spent at the CAB cafeteria, with Gary's quick wit fuelling most conversations.
With great sadness --
