Doug Payne, of Calgary, AB passed away on Tuesday, September, 15, 2020 at the age of 65 years.

Doug was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on April 9, 1955.

He graduated from SAIT with an accreditation as a telecommunication technician. He retired from TELUS Communications previously AGT after a thirty-five year career. Doug enjoyed photography and dirt bike riding through his early years.

Doug enjoyed tinkering with electronics and playing his guitar.

Doug is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Don and Janet Payne of Calgary, AB; sister Dorothy MacKay-Holmberg of Cochrane AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his father Bernard Payne, his mother Pearl Payne, and his brother David Payne.
