Thank you everyone for taking the time to express you thoughts and feelings about my late wife Laneeh!

You will be missed. You were a very kind woman and always thinking of other people. Rest in Peace Aunt Laneeh xoxo
I am so thankful I got to spend time with Laneeh in the past year. Having her and Chantal and all the babies together playing is something I will always remember. It was such a nice afternoon getting to talk and know the kiddies.
Laneeh you were such a kind and giving person. We will all miss your smile and calm demeanour. Your grace in your passing is such a positive quality I hope to have half of when my time comes. Rest in peace. Love you
Always a kind word, always thinking of the less fortunate, generous to a fault. You were without a doubt a woman who embodied love and forgiveness wherever you went. Rest in peace my sweet sister in law. You fought a tough fight with grace and unending love. You will be missed. xo
Aunt Laneeh,
We will miss you dearly in our presence, as you touched us all with your kind soul, loving heart, and caring nature. I look back on fond memories of visiting you, Uncle Brian and the cousins in Calgary. I will always remember your thoughtful, beautifully homemade gifts we received from you at Christmas time, and when you came to visit us here in Kingston. The love you shared will carry on forever, rest in paradise sweet Laneeh.
Love, Carly
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Laneeh… the owner of a blessed heart.
I have nothing but joyful memories of any interaction I had with Laneeh over the years.
Her smile (and giggle) always lit up the room for family and friends to enjoy.
Laneeh’s children have inherited her smile. A gift to be cherished!
Laneeh gave me a bible this fall (too small to read, even with my new eyeglass prescription). It sits on my bedside table and when I notice it, the memory of Laneeh makes me smile. I know what’s in the book; in a nutshell, to be Christ-like and live with a blessed heart.
As I get older, I think more about dying.
Laneeh proved if we are at peace with God, our own selves and those close to us; there is nothing to fear in life.
Laneeh has taught us all how to live and die … with a blessed heart.
Laneeh was like a sister to me. She laid peacefully for 101 days at Hospice, enjoying visits, phone calls, and Facetime with family and friends. Never did she complain, or act unhappy. For Laneeh, each day was perfect and worth living. What a true example of a Christian life. Jesus was within her, acting through her to make a difference in in the lives of the people around her.
In October, the week we spent together (my sister Cindy and I) with Laneeh, her family and her friends, will always be remembered. I wished that we had lived closer, so we could have continued to visit her over the past few months. I am so proud of my brother, niece and nephews (and nephew-in-law). They were and continue to be strong, positive, loving and brought so much joy to Laneeh’s life. The grandchildren, Myla, Vida and Theodore, were a source of pride and joy, that will carry on the generations of a Christian life, because of their loving Lola.
Laneeh was proud and reaped the benefits of living a God loving life, full of kindness and generosity. She made a difference in my life, and the lives of our family. My parents Harvey and Shirley, became her parents and enjoyed a relationship of unconditional love and acceptance.
God’s plan for Laneeh’s life slowly unfolded, and she fulfilled and continues to fulfill all of His wishes through her husband Brian, children Chantal, Daniel, Adam, son-in-law Dylan and grandchildren. What a legacy that they have the fortune of continuing… that we all have the fortune of continuing.
I will continue to pray for my brother’s family. I pray that we will all experience many perfect days in honour of her. Rest in paradise my sweet sister-in-law, Laneeh. I will never forget your unconditional love.
Auntie Laneeh demonstrated her love in so many ways – she was extremely talented and creative with crafts and made each member of our large family many gifts. I love my little handmade angels.
I feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful aunt that lived each day to it’s fullest . Always smiling and spreading her love. She had a wonderful smile and a laugh, that I will never forget. (Jessie)
Auntie Laneeh you were the most thoughtful and loving person I have ever had the privilege of knowing… truly an angel on earth. Your unwavering faith, your love, your kindness, your generosity, your acceptance, your grace…the world was a better place with you in it. I am a better person having known you. Thank you…for everything. (Alyssa)
We struggle with the fact that she will no longer be here but Laneeh passed on her loving personality to each of her wonderful children and grandchildren. Her light shines so brightly through each of you and because of this, her legacy will live on forever.
Love you Auntie Laneeh
Your loving smile and warm heart touched so many, and you had this gift of making everyone feel welcome and calm when around you. I can just imagine your smile brightening up the sky above, as you look down upon us now. When you see Grandma be sure to say hi for me and have lots of laughs. I’m going to miss you dearly, but will always have fond memories. I love you.
My favourite memories with Auntie Laneeh always included her joyful and giving attitude. From our visits to Calgary, to her visits to Kingston, to our family Skype chats. Her laugh was contagious! She reminded me what it meant to live as a Christian. She was always concerned about others before herself. I will miss her kind, loving, and soft-spoken voice. Rest in peace, Auntie Laneeh. I love you! Love, Matlin xoxo
I am blessed to have had the opportunity to meet Laneeh. She was a kind and gentle soul. Rest in peace with Jesus, Laneeh. Love, Dave

Dear Brian Eves. I would like to take this time to offer my deepest condolences to you and yours. Laneeh was a very special lady and a great friend to me and I shall miss her greatly, from across the miles, including her daily scriptures she would put on fb to which I looked forward to reading and thanking her for putting them there.
