Condolences
To Valiere and Family
With deepest sympathy on the passing of your loved one. Always remember Ed for his friendship and a very talented man.
Do hope you are keeping well. Often think of the Long family.
Sincerely Mary (Logan) Anderson
Ed played crib with us at Dreamview Village on Wednesday evenings. We are sad to hear of his passing. We think his life among us “counts for 29” - Godspeed my friend. From John and Marianne Lauzon.
I remember Uncle Ed as a kind and quiet man but yet he was very talkative when I spoke to him one on one. I always appreciated his advice and wisdom when I talked to him about one of my renovation projects. I will remember Uncle Ed's smile and witty comments and how it was so comfortable to visit with him even when I had not seen him for months.
I offer my condolences to Aunt Val, Mark, Monique, David, and Peter.

Ed was a wonderful man who raised three great boys with Val, a much loved grandfather of three other great boys who happen to be my nephews. It was a pleasure to get to know you Ed, you will be missed. Thinking of Val and all family members grieving.

Jerry and I met Ed and Val when we purchased our acreage in Aldergreen Acres. We spent many enjoyable times with them and other neighbours and friends (known as Calgary City Slickers) at numerous card parties, birthday lunches, barbecues, Christmas dinners and more.
We wish to pass on our sincere condolences to the whole family and want them to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. Ed will be sorely missed but always fondly remembered.

We met Ed and Valerie when their son Mark and our son Jim were going to the same school. They told us about this wonderful acreage they had purchased in the Caroline area. We had a look and decided to also purchased an acreage in the same subdivision.. Chris and Ed were always helping each other out with various projects over the years. They knew they could count on each other in time of need along with other neighbours in the area. We have really missed them since they left in 2005 and for sure we understand why Ed called this his "Happy Place". Our condolences to Valerie and the boys. We are sure they will miss him terribly. Take comfort in knowing that he is again in a "Happy Place" Our thoughts and prayers are with you all
Chris and Verna Doll
