Condolences
Dear Jeff, Emma and Ethan,
My deepest condolences for your loss of Leigh. She was one of my favourite clients, I looked forward to seeing her with her fur kids and catching up on family and life. I will miss our chats and am thinking of you all. Suzanne Adams-Hird
My heart is heavy today as I just learned of Leigh's passing. My memories of your family and friendship with Leigh, Jeff and her sister Pam, I will always hold close. Two beautiful souls now walking hand in hand in our hearts. Sending love to all of your family. Merrill Gray
So sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this time and she will continue to live on in your memories
Beautiful Leigh, we will miss your compassionate spirit, wit and most of all, kindness. For 20 years the Sierra Nevada gang shared lunch and laughs. We will continue on but will miss Leigh’s contribution so much. You are in our hearts forever.
To Jeff, Ethan, Emma and Leigh’s extended family, we hope all your wonderful memories are some solace at such a sad time. Leigh will always be there, lighting the way.
I first met Leigh in Vancouver many, many years ago, and I was always struck with two things - her smile, and Jeff’s smile whenever he was around her. I am so sorry to hear this news, and send my heartfelt thoughts and wishes to Jeff, Ethan and Emma.
As I struggle with the news of Leigh’s passing I remember and celebrate :
Leigh was propelled by an enduring sense of mission to her calling ; nursing . To say she was an excellent nurse would certainly be an understatement, she brought passion , authenticity, and a delightful sense of humour that endeared her to everyone she met . Leigh truly listened , she made you feel valued and appreciated, and always left you feeling that you were well cared for . A friend to each of us who had the good fortune to work with her, to witness her work ethic , her willingness to jump in and lend a helping hand, to share a laugh or a tear , and most of all to simply enjoy her company . We have lost a wonderful carer , an ally , a friend. Personally , I knew Leigh as yes , a colleague first , and then quickly , a fast friend.
Jeff , Emma , Ethan , may that brilliant light that is Leigh shine brightly upon you and may her love of you sustain you through these powerfully sad times .
Jeff
Very sad to hear the news of Leigh's passing. We have very fond memories of our time together during many years of ringette with you on the bench and Leigh in the stands with us. Her infectious smile will always be remembered.

Jeff, Roddy, Bea, Zoe, Chuck and families;
Please know that our hearts and thoughts are with you in this very difficult time. Leigh was a "really neat" lady and we will forever cherish the small moments of time that we were fortunate enough to have spent with her.

Working along side Leigh was always a pleasure. Her straight thinking and her laughter made the shifts easier. Her shared stories brought many smiles and more laughs. Her immediate and extended family came first with never a doubt. When I think of you Leigh, your laugh is so easy to remember and we all know you gave life your very best and no one could top that.
Sorry for your loss, Leigh was a bright star in the world.
Jeff, The kids and I are very sorry for the loss of your wife. Our Deepest Sympathy and Love to all of you, she will be in your hearts forever.
There are no words that can be said that will fill the void that has been left in your lives with Leigh's passing. Jeff and Family we wish we could be there to comfort you during this time and to celebrate the wonderful life and love you shared with Leigh. Just know that we are thinking of and praying for you.
Nelson Shelly and the kids
My thoughts and warmest wishes are with you all in this difficult moment. Although I was not in contact with Leigh and her family very much over the last number of years, I fondly remember a friendship with her that lasted more than 40 years. While it is a time to grieve, it is also a time to celebrate the extraordinary life of an extraordinary person.
My deepest condolences for your great loss. You and your family are in my heart and in my thoughts.
I am heartbroken. Leigh, Chicki and I had many adventures in elementary school. She grew a tadpole into a frog! An amazing person who has always lived in my heart. RIP Leigh. Love always. Tina Herbst
My deepest condolences for your loss. May Leigh's memory always be a blessing to you all.

My love and prayers go out to the family of beloved Leigh. Although I never got the chance to meet Leigh's family it doesn't make my love and sorrow for you all any less. Leigh and I met in middle school in Calgary, and hit if off our first meeting.I moved in with Leigh, her mom and brother in grade twelve as my family was moving to Airdrie. Our bond was like sisters and although I moved to Ontario back in 1980 we did get to meet up at the Robert Warren 25 year reunion.
We had many a wonderful times together, I remember a huge picture frame I gave her of all the good times together. We would go down to Fish Creek to have bon fires and sneak some beer! Summer days sun tanning on my parents roof of the car port! With the boys across the alley peeking at us! She will be truly missed my heart breaks for you all.
God bless , I am so sorry for your loss
