Condolences
Greg and family, So sorry to hear of Connie's passing. I very much enjoyed her visits in the store while working for Walls Alive.
I remember her as a very cheerful lady and she treated everyone equally . Also had some lovely chats at the Christmas parties.
May she rest in peace. She will be remembered.

Greg and the girls, Catherine, Marilyn and Shelley. Connie, your awesome Mum, the most beautiful person on the inside as well as a spectacular exterior! Always a big heart, a big smile and gracious loving words to say. I got to know her through Southwood, and then when George was struggling. I spent much time and money at Walls Alive (both on 17th and then in Avenida) deciding on how I was going to next decorate my house, . Connie had so much energy, she used to make me tired just hearing all she was doing. Mostly baking and cooking is my memory and then she would fly 1/2 way around the world to help her daughter make cakes! Coming back just a bubbling with stories! She made this world a beautiful place. Will miss her, glad she could be with us till 94! Wilma Clark
Connie was a great friend of my wife (Marie Milne ) and several times we gave her a ride to
Church . She was always very pleasant and a joy to be with . She will be missed at Southwood Church

I, as the best friend in high school of Connie's daughter, Marilyn, have always felt that Connie was a big part of my life. The note about her roast beef really rang true as I recall going to an afternoon Christmas concert with Connie and Marilyn and then back to Connie's for dinner. We were gone over three hours and when it was announced we were having roast beef I wondered how she could have timed it to be ready without being overcooked and prepared myself for well done beef. Out came the roast and it was perfect - same perfect pinkness all the way through. Connie had cooked it at a very low temperature with instructions as we walked in to the house NOT to open the oven (I think she had even sealed the oven with saran wrap but I could be imagining that) and four hours after putting it in the oven it was PERFECT! I wish we could all be together to celebrate her life but will look forward to years of stories about her in the coming years.....
