Condolences
One of the first conversations I had with Wade, he and Deborah were sharing stories about Wade clearing snow. Not only his property, of course, but also for everyone else on their block who could use the assistance.
Shoveling out after this last winter storm and coming to the end of my property line, I stretched my back, looked at my neighbour’s walk, thought about what Wade would have done, and kept on going. Laughing to myself that I will be getting one of those blowers Wade suggested before the next snow fall.
Dearest Deborah,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I never met a better gentleman and someone so kind. I wish you the best in the days ahead.
Wade often came by the Humane Society with donations, and he always brought a smile with him. Although I didn't know him well, I could tell in our brief interactions that he was a kind and sincere man. He made a difference in the lives of animals here at the shelter by going out of his way to collect bottle donations at his work; it was clear that he truly cared about the welfare of the animals and was passionate about doing his part. I will miss our chats.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Wade's passing. I only knew him as a fellow dog walker, but I could always count on a friendly conversation with him and a good sniff from Sophie. He will be missed.
Wade was so full of energy, eagerness and fun. I had the privilege and pleasure of getting to know Wade at the library when he participated in one of my classes. He always had a smile on his face, mischief in his soul and a big heart. Wade always brought joy and happiness to everyone he met.
I will miss seeing Wade at the library and the joy that always surrounded him. Wade and Deborah are definitely one of my good memories from 2020.
I met Wade during the lock down in March, he was our weekly delivery guy of donations from Walmart for the food bank. When my boss and I introduced ourselves (I call my boss Zee), Wade's response was very Canadian....and said nice to meet you Zed. I am so sorry for your loss and the loss to our community.....Wade was a treasure! He will be missed greatly!
Wade was always so friendly when he came into the office & liked to joke around. He did so much for the community. I loved seeing his photos & hearing about his travels. Condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed. - Cory
