Condolences
Rita was a loving friend a true sister in Christ . We had many great card games both in our building and at the over fifty club we , she was a fun competitor at a our canasta games . We shared many great moments together on our Tuesday lunches with Tom and Pauline. I miss her dearly but know she is in heaven and I’ll see her again ! Much love and Prayers to her family at this time Joan Carbert
We will treasure the moments we had with Rita. Whether it was over coffee, an awesome meal, visiting, texting, Rita was a kind, beautiful lady and a real trooper. The hospitality that she showed us over and over again were precious times. When we would come down from the north – whether it was in Red Deer at the Tent Meetings or getting together in Airdrie or when she and a group of ladies made the long treck north – they were special times. One of the many memories that will never fade away, was the ability she had to make you feel like an instant family member. The love that she showed us, through her wonderful smile, her encouraging words and her warms hugs will be forever missed. Until we meet again at Jesus feet.
Our love and prayers are with Rita’s family as well as her many friends, all of which miss her greatly.
Dorothy (Joan’s daughter) Lori, Chan, Adrienne, Evelyn, Ashley, Mary, Sharon, Sunshine, Sandy, Bill, Gordon and Irene…and all of us at N.T.O.M.I.
My mother taught me to appreciate what a difference it makes finding peace of mind. One of my main practices is the cultivation of altruism, I am training to think about it every moment I wake up. Therefore, until my last breath, I will try to help other people find peace of mind.
Love you mom!
Rita! Many laughs were had! With her warm and giving heart
have have blessed Sylvia, myself and Joan my mom. She has given us great memories!!
Rita was an amazing friend and an over comer. She never complained about all the terrible pain she was in. She would pucker her lips a bit, take a few small breaths and say “ I’m okay so let’s get on with it”. She will be missed so very much but she is with her Lord Jesus. I can only imagine her beautiful smile.
Sharon and Paul
