Obituary of Helen (Oma) PONGRAC

April 8, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Helen Pongrac, affectionately known as Oma, beloved wife of the late Fred Pongrac of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the age of 93 years.

Oma is survived by her three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sue-Ellen and Tom Moore, Iris and Dave Stagg, and Karen Pongrac; seven grandchildren, Kristen (Allan), Ryan (Susan), Jordan (Jessica), Carly (Steven), Ben (Jacque), Sarah, and Tim (Malinda); and eleven great-grandchildren, Keira, Jackson, Michaela, Aidan, Payton, Lennon, Dani, Madelyn, Zoe, Cash, and Nora.

In accordance with Helen’s wishes, the family will hold a Celebration of Life privately.

If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

The family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation and thanks to the Newport Harbour Seniors Community staff, for their compassionate care of Oma.
