Condolences
Dear Claire and David:
We have very many fond memories of Chris over some forty years or so. She had a tremendous spirit of adventure and exuded great warmth and sincerity. She was very loyal, extremely smart, could adapt to any situation and had a great joie de vivre. She was a doting daughter, a tremendous mother and a great and caring friend.
We will miss her greatly as will her family and so many of her friends.
May her memory be a blessing.
Gordon J. Hoffman and all her office friends
I was so saddened to hear of Chris’ passing. She was a rock to me over the years. We first met in 1990 at MacKimmie Mathews where she was a legal secretary. Years later, when I was in need of having help keeping my legal practice on track, we fortuitously ran into each other. From that point on, she helped me weekly and provided order where there was definitely chaos. She was always well organized, smart and usually right whenever we disagreed. Her optimistic and good nature made her a pleasure to be around. She had a zest for life – whether it was trekking to Bhutan or paddling her kayak - and didn’t let anything set her back. My sympathies to Claire and David. You’ve lost a great Mom.
Letha J. MacLachlan, Q.C.
My thoughts and prayers are with David and Claire during this difficult time.
I met Christine through work and we became fast friends. I was always in awe of her adventurous spirit as she went on her travels around the world. I count myself lucky to have traveled with her to Washington and to Las Vegas. We went to Las Vegas to see Barry Manilow, who called in sick to his performance, so we saw Whoopi Goldberg instead. She was disappointed and when we spoke about it earlier this year and he was one person she wanted to see perform.
It was my privilege to know Christine. She was a beautiful person with a kind soul with an appreciation for life. May she rest in peace.

We are saddened to hear of Christine's passing and send our love and condolences to David and Claire.
Christine loved her travels and shared many stories when we got together. She will be greatly missed but our fond memories will always be with us.
Thank you Christine for your love, humour, acceptance, and kindness. We'll miss our friend and my dear godmother.
With much love

My sympathies go out to you, David and Claire. Your Mum was a truly unique individual who made the world a better place with her humour and adventuresome spirit. I worked with her for many years in the legal community and she made every day a bit brighter. She was so very proud of the two of you and shared many stories of your growing up years and adventures. She will be missed.
My thoughts are with you, Pamela Nutter
My deepest sympathy goes out to Claire, David and all Christine's friends. Just know that though I am many miles away in Australia my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Christine and I became life-long friends as borders at Copplestone house School in Budleigh Salterton, Devon, U.K way back in the early 1950s. We kept in touch for many years though our paths went in different directions. Unfortunately years later I lost touch with Christine but a friend of mine - another Christine - located her address through the internet and once more we connected and corresponded by letter, cards and Emails. It was one of my greatest joys in late 2015 when Christine told me that she had booked a flight to Australia and was coming to visit me! She planned her trip to coincide with the New year's Eve fireworks spectacular on Sydney Harbour which she thoroughly enjoyed, then came out by train to Seven Hills Station where I met her and brought her home to my Retirement Village where we spent the best part of a month catching up. The years just rolled away. We got on so well! I had kept up my Christmas tree and decorations until Christine came. She was delighted! We had fun taking them all down and putting them away. Then it was time to explore all the places of interest around the area and for Christine to get to know some of my friends - What fun we had! One of the highlights for Christine was a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park where she was able to nurse a baby kangaroo called Lucy - I believe that photo became her screen-saver when she returned home. Although very different from your magnificent mountains in Canada Christine was awed by our beautiful Blue Mountains and many other places I took her. Our cameras did a lot of clicking... Another highlight for Christine was a few days spent at the Tennis Tournaments in Melbourne - something she really enjoyed. She returned to me for the last few days of her holiday - not a moment was wasted. Time went far too quickly and it was time to say "Good-bye" once again. I thank God we had that month together before that terrible cancer struck Christine again. Since then I have done my best to keep in touch with Christine by Email, offering love and support as best I could. That link has now been sadly broken but memories remain of a very dear friend. "God Bless her! May she now rest in peace."
Love, Anita and Christine's much loved friend (my cat) Freddie XX
