Condolences
I met Maurice over 18 years ago. I was new to the equipment he was involved in, and he was fantastically patient with my learning curve. I had the pleasure of working right beside him during the winter months preparing the equipment for the coming season. He was a great man who had a diplomatic way with the people around him. He was one of those people who touched my life in a positive way. I lost touch with him just prior to his retirement, but he left a impression on me that I will have for the rest of my life, and I am very thankful for that. Forever in my memories. The world has lost a champion. RIP Maurice
We will treasure the memories we have of Maurice. You will always have a special place in our hearts. Love you always

Maurice was a valued member of our Team at Blue-Con Excavating for approximately 25 years. He started his career here 2 weeks prior to my arrival, and through those years we spent more hours together than we did with our own families. It is not often that you have someone so dedicated as Maurice working with you all those years, never late and always one of the most productive persons on the crew. We worked on such projects as the expansion of the Lake Louise Hotel, the Banff staff housing, and numerous projects in and around Calgary. One of the saddest days for me occurred about 10 years ago when Maurice came into my office and said he was retiring. I briefly tried to talk him out of doing so, but ultimately, he was determined to spend some quality time with Liliane and the family, something I am thankful he did. He will be missed!
Matt Haasen and the entire Blue-Con Staff.
