Condolences
I was very sorry to hear of Ferne’s passing. We worked together at NCE/Petrofund for several years. She was delightful to work with and was always a breath of fresh air around the office. I had forgotten she was a golf nut and it was nice to read that she enjoyed golf in her retirement. She was taken far too early.

Ferne was my very first friend at a petroleum consultant company in Calgary that I joined in 1977. We quickly became best friends (along with her sister Deb) and the 3 of us sure managed to have a grand time. As our lives took separate paths, we always managed to keep in touch and I enjoyed those times. I was very shocked and saddened to learn of Ferne's passing and please know that I think of you both Gary and Deb in this difficult time.
Ferne will always be dear to my heart.

I worked with Ferne a number of years ago and will always remember her lovely big smile, her positive attitude and encouragement, and her love and enjoyment of golfing. My sincere condolences to her loved ones.
Dear Gary, I was so very sad to hear of your loss of Ferne. I hold you and your Family in my heart at this sad time.

Dear Debi,
I am so sorry for the loss of your sister and closest friend Ferne. You referred to Ferne as being so much a part of you that she was like your shadow and that is so true. You shared so much together and hardly a day went by that you and Ferne did not see or talk to one another. You were always thinking of her and when shopping would often say "Ferne would like that!" Golfing, going for coffee, shopping, gardening, painting Ferne's house and travelling bonded you two together tightly. May these good memories sustain you!!
Know that you are surrounded by friends that care and are here for you. Olivia
Dear Debi, thinking of you during this difficult time . So sorry to hear of the loss of your dear sister and best friend . I know you enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas , golfing days, shopping outings and special sister love.
I know Ferne would have really appreciated all the care and dedication you gave to her when she was ill.
I can remember how Ferne enjoyed being with her dear sister ..... fun laughs and of course a cup of coffee.
My Deepest sympathy to you, Gary and family.
I like the part in the obituary that said Ferne earned her wings ...... Angel wings.
Sending love and healing prayers .

So sad to hear. Ferne you will be missed. We shared laughs outside at work. She spoke highly of her family and was such a nice person. Until we meet again.
My deepest condolences to Gary and the family. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Ferne's passing. I worked a couple of office doors down from Ferne. The morning chatter over a coffee was about golf or whatever else was going on. We shared a lot of laughs over the morning coffee. I will miss her as she was a good friend. My thoughts are with the family. God Bless.
Gary (and everyone),
I am heartbroken to hear the very sad news of Ferne's passing. We shared many great days at work, and even more laughs at the pub afterwards. I am left with great memories of her stories, and smile. I am so very sorry for your great loss.
