Condolences
We just learned of Jody’s passing last evening.
We are so very sorry for your loss, Mike, and our deepest sympathy goes out to you, and all your family and friend’s.
Wendy & Wayne Richardson (your neighbors)
Jody was an incredible person. She knew how to face tough situations in life head on and always with a smile. Her joyous laugh, sparkling eyes and love for life and family shone through her like a ray of sunshine. I have so many wonderful memories that will be so vibrant. The first day I met her and heard her sing… the first time she brought her new puppy Chico to piano lessons and let me meet him. The time she brought Pepe to his first visit… the time she bought her Fendi bag and we called it the Fazekas bag… the time she knew my dad passed and was one of the few people to call me up personally to share her condolences.. the time she sang at my wedding.. and every time she came to our concerts to sing and entertain the audiences. Everyone she met adored her. Her humble attitude and friendly personality made you love her. Never once did she put me down or treat me badly. She loved to give advice and was always a voice of reason in my life. Things she didn’t understand about me (like being a vegan) she would tease me about and laugh with me. I am still in shock that Jody is no longer here, but as every day goes by I feel her energy stronger than ever. I will miss her dearly and will never be able to replace those wonderful memories, but I’m so grateful to have know her for half of my lifetime. She was a mom to me and I consider myself lucky to have had the honour to call her a friend. In this life and next, we will always be together. Condolences to Jody’s family whom she adored above all else.. to face the days and years ahead without this sparkling light will be tough. I wish you all the ease of pain as each day passes.
