Condolences
I am sorry to be so late with my comments but being at Dans Celebration of life brought back many good memories. Dan and I worked together for many years. Laughter was easy for Danny and everybody laughed with him. When Dan started working in the Cochrane area we saw much less of each other but when we did meet he always had time to Chat and talk about old times. Danny left us way too early and I wish sincere condolences to his family and friends. There are lots of humorous situations I can recall but too many to mention. Rest easy my friend and so long for now.
Danny, your smile and laugh are what we will never forget about you. Love Annie and Sonya ❤❤
My condolences to Danny's family. He started on our crew at AGT as a "splicer's helper" in the mid 70's working in the Calgary Fringe area. Lots of good memories. Outside of work I'll remember him as one of the guys that got me playing hockey Saturday nights with our AGT group which created comaraderie.

To the Stephens family, I send you my sincere condolences and prayers on the passing of Danny. Dan and I became good friends when he lived in Banff in the 1980's. To say that he brought laughter and joy to everyone who knew him is an understatement. Dan's humor and outgoing friendliness made him a friend and buddy to almost every local in Banff. Be it on the hockey rink, or helping anyone with anything, be they a stranger or friend, Dan was a beautiful soul, Danny's infectious smile and laughter were unforgettable, and are the memories of him I will carry with me forever. God bless you Dan, may you rest in peace my friend.

So sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I am an old friend from his younger years, when he lived at home on 10st north Lethbridge and I was on 11st. In high school we painted a peace sign on my 62 Laurentian, as we were going to head out to "Montreal or bust". We both got army surplus clothes to impress the girls. Had many wild weekends in Great Falls. The only time we butted heads was hockey talk, as I am a Habs fan. He would always look me up when he came down to visit the gang, Ging guys, brought T-shirts down for all of as at Superbowl time. Thats when we would catch up on our lives, and he'd proudly show off his family photos, and amazing hunting and fishing shots. His laugh was infectious, and luckily, I got to talk to him and hear that laugh one last time a couple of weeks back. To Danny's loved ones, sorry for your loss. Jerry Comai.
Solong Dan, it's not goodbye because we will see each other again up yonder one day. Our time together was always fun at work or at play although we hadn't seen each other very often for a number of years. We would see each other from time to time, have a coffee or a beer and talk about what was happening with our lives. Dan texted me a couple of weeks prior to his death letting me know his time was up. Living a couple of hours away I wasn't able to get to Calgary right away but I did make it about a week after he contacted me. We chatted for about two or three hours about old times, it was fun reliving the good old days. Dan told me he had two to four months left so I was truly surprised when I was told he had passed away. I recall the photo I took of Dan while I was taking pictures for the safety committee. He was working high on a pole when I took the picture. All the photos I took were distributed around the North Garage Work Center. Dan received his photo when the area was redecorated. Dan and I were always good friends and I will miss him. I want to wish his family condolences from my wife Pat and I as I know this is not an easy time for family and friends
