Our sincerest Condolences to the entire Robertson Clan from the Perry Family. Dad (Don) loved his Cousin Jack and had many fond memories of him and his Parents Jack and Doris as well as all his Robertson Cousins. Sadly, Don passed away on June 11, 2022 and he was not able to send along his condolences himself. Martha MacLeod

I worked for Jack for two years. I loved how he was always so positive. No matter what was happening he always came in with a smile. He cared about his clients who he said were his friends. He talk about his family often. He called his first wife “my Mary” which I found very endearing. After meeting Sandy I told Jack that she was very cute he very enthusiastically said “no she’s gorgeous!”. I loved that. I just found out of Jack’s passing and want to pass on my deepest condolences to Sandy and his whole family. A dynamic man like that is going to leave a big hole in a lot of people’s lives.
Sincerely,
Sheila Paterson
Jack was a remarkable man, a wonderful friend and lake neighbor to us at Rush Bay. I have so many fond memories of time spent at the Robertson’s cottage as a young girl playing with Kathie and enjoying Jack’s laughter and love that shone from him. Getting to come to a shore lunch, boat trips to Shoal Lake and Coney Island were always fun and Jack was always the life of the party. My boys and my grandchildren loved spending time with Jack, and Jack would take them out fishing. Ken hung out with Derek so he has many fun memories with Jack and the Robertson’s. Our sons and grandkids loved the Fishing Derby which Jack made a highlight of the summer. Our entire family loved Jack and the Robertson clan!! Everyone he knew would love him as he was such a great guy. My parents were always so touched because Jack always phoned my mom on her birthday and my dad on his birthday, without fail year after year! That shows the kind of man Jack was. He had a heart of gold! He will always be fondly remembered by my family, and stories of Jack will be shared with generations to come! One fun memory was a trip to Fernie and Jack said “ Let’s head down to Calispell,WA with Gary & Kathie’s family and ours. A fun day of skiing and Chinese Food was amazing with Jack’s enthusiasm! As my parents stated, “Jack’s a quality man!” Our deepest condolences to all the Robertson Family! Praying for comfort for all of you and sending much love!!

Thinking of you all today! I was fortunate to be able to spend some time at both Lake of the Woods and in Fernie with you all and carry great memories of those times. I remember after dinner walks and he'd go into his case of chocolate bars and bring Mars bars along. I still think of him whenever I eat one. One of my favourite memories is of him booking my mom in at a hair salon when we visited and telling her she's cutting off her long hair because it makes her look too old. Even when he was in a lot of pain he made the effort to come to our wedding. He will definitely be missed by all xoxo
Many great memories of Jack . Skiing in Fernie , Fishing at Lake of the Woods , and the west coast , and exploring Vancouver Island . Jacks' great humour and ability to make living memorable and meaningful was second to none . He is greatly missed . I was very lucky to have him for my brother . Doug Robertson
We were sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Our prayers are with the family. He was always such a friendly person, and our kids and ourselves always enjoyed the yearly fishing derbies and all the friendships. He will be missed.

We could not have had a better neighbor than Jack was for us. Alan’s history goes back to standing in a blizzard in Kenora with Jack to get the land where the cottages were later built. He was there for us when Alan broke his back. And so many fun memories - the fishing derbies with thoughtful gifts, the competitions for laser racing… We will miss you Jack! With love, Alan & Shirley
I had the joy and privilege to literally work side by side with Jack for almost 15 years. We had so many fun times together. Lots of laughs and a few tears too. He had the biggest heart! He would include me and my husband Ray and our whole family as part of his clan. His greatest joy was his family and of course....eating. He would just finish one meal and was wondering what to eat or where to go for his next....LOL... He was also such a social person. When Mary passed away, he missed her so much and was a bit lonely. At that time, I never knew where I would end up when he offered me a ride home, which he generously often did. "It would be quicker than the bus", so he would say..... Once it was to a client's funeral out of town; or to his grandson's volleyball game; or a road trip to a client's meeting; or just for a lovely meal. He always talked about his whole family and their amazing personalities and accomplishments. And of course the two loves of his life - Mary and Sandy. He did live life to the fullest and I always thought he was the Energizer Bunny - never ending....never stopping. Go, go, go.... He wore his heart on his sleeve. He worked hard but he also played hard. An extremely kind, loyal and generous gentleman. Truly One Of A Kind. We will miss him and his JOIE DE VIVRE - "exuberant enjoyment of life"....that's Jack. Thank you Jack for letting me be a part of your life. Love Janet and Ray Kasten
We send our sincere condolences to Sandy and the entire Robertson family. He will be missed by all but thankfully the many years of beautiful memories will always be yours.

My sincere condolences are extended to the entire Robertson family. I have so many fond memories of Jack and I know that I, and many others, have benefited from his joy of life. Jack was so generous with his time and wisdom. Being a constant fixture in the Robertson home when they lived in Willowdale, I learned so much from him. I was so fortunate to have spent so many wonderful times with Jack and his amazing family.
I am heartbroken that Uncle Jack, who was also my godfather, has passed away. He was a whirlwind of positive energy and he was very funny. The last time I saw him was several years ago, when he and Sandy came out to celebrate my Mom and Dad's wedding anniversary. We went to Las Vegas and took in the Jersey Boys show. We went to the Las Vegas Mob Museum and hung out at a house that a family member of my boyfriend made available to us. I will miss him very much, but I will also remember a life that was well lived. He was a wonderful example to everyone. My condolences to all of my cousins and Sandy.
Love,
Marcie Donald
Jack was unable to do the toast to the bride at my wedding because his daughter Kathie ( my best friend) was expecting her first child. He taught me how to waterski at Lake of the Woods and was relentless about getting me up. I returned home to Ontario covered in bruises but a damn proud skier! The Robertson household was my second home growing up. Full of people, conversation and love. I adore this man and I am heartbroken at his passing. My sincere sympathy and love to all those who have lost dear Jack from their life. The stories will live on and I hope, raindrops keep falling on your head Jack. I will never forget you and thank you for sharing Kathie and your beautiful family with me. Julie Dalton
