I was so very sorry to hear of Mirella's passing. I saw her last a few years ago at Rosie's. When I heard her voice so many happy family memories came to mind. When I told her I'd recognize that voice anywhere, oh did she laugh. I shall never forget her voice, laughter, smiles and hugs. Deepest sympathies to Aldo, Susie and their families.

To Carla and family:
Our deepest condolences for the sudden loss of your sister Lilian. Frank Cimino and family
I'm very sorry for your loss. I did not know Mirella well but I remember how kind and humourous she was the few times I met her. Sending love to your family during this difficult time.
Nonna was a very warm caring person who welcomed our family into hers, with her love, generosity and many hugs. I'll miss the chats we had, when Aldo and Shauna were away on their many travels, as well as the get togethers and dinners our families shared on special occasions. Our love and deepest sympathy to all her family and loved ones.
I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. She was always so very kind. She was such a wonderful friend to my mom, Visella.

Dear Aldo & Shauna. Both Nadine and I are saddened to hear of the passing of your mom. This is a very great loss to you and your family. Although we never met her, we do feel that we know a little bit of her; you both spoke of her often, and always with kindness and love. Certainly, the quality of her character is reflected in your own. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
I learned about Mirella's passing this past weekend, and one of the first things I did was decide that I would celebrate her life by writing my memories of her on a piece of paper that I then put in the fire I prepared for my son, Elliott, and his friend who were more interested in roasting marshmallows and peeing on the embers to put them out. Well, I think Mirella would have laughed at that and said 'good for them!'. Mirella was one of 2 people in my extended family that put their hands out to me as a troubled teenager and made me feel like what I had to say was important, worth listening to, and who gave me tenderness and affection. I'll never forget Mirella for her love of connection, of sharing, and her generous smile that was a sign of her typical generosity. I was very much hoping to visit her (and the family) next year with my son, so he could meet more of the pretty large extended family. To be scooped up in the emotion of 'la famiglia'. Well, I'll find other ways of remembering Mirella, of sharing with him the special moments I had with her. My heart goes out to the whole family.
I’m so sorry to hear about Mirella’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and I enjoyed our visits immensely. Mirella will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Although we never had the pleasure of getting to know Lilian personally, we feel like we knew her through her only son, Aldo, when our only son, David, moved to Calgary and later married into the Romanzin family. The strength and character that Aldo has always shown to his wife’s extended family – even us long distance members - will continue to be a living testament as to the kindness and wisdom that Aldo could only learn and inherit from his loving mother.
Our deepest condolences for Romanzin family. We are really sorry and sad to hear the news. May god bless the family with great strength for their loss.

For me and my family Lilian will always be Nona. She treated us like family and we love her. She was a woman who put her family first, loved God, and was always kind. We send our condolences to Susan, Neil, Aldo, Shauna, Nicole, Ian and Alicia.
I met Lilian at St. Joseph, with the bread ministry. She was one of the hardest worker setting up the stations, packing bread and cleaning up. After all bread was packed an put away, she then go and deliver the bread to poor families, elderly neighbours, friends or unemployeed single mothers leaving non of the bread for herself.
I will miss my long conversations with her, her advises, her recipes, her hugs and her "I love you Maria". Ciao cara mia, I love you too. God bless your soul forever. Amen
My deepest condolences to the family.
