Condolences
Dear Sylvia and family
We are sorry to hear of your loss. We enjoyed our annual visits at the lovely Christmas carol evening.
May happy memories help you through this sad time.
Our best,
Maureen & Imants
I have just been looking at my old copy of the C.C.I. Analecta yearbook for 1960. Ken Teare's entry "The pet peeve of this future chartered accountant is people who expect others to run a car on no gas. He enjoys hunting, curling and riding". Ken certainly fulfilled the yearbook entry and so much more. The memories you shared in the Herald showed a life so full of adventure, hard work and loving family times. May these memories you all cherish and the thoughts and prayers of others bring you comfort and peace at this time of sorrow.
SAIT's ALIVE (The Association of Retired and Former employees of SAIT and their spouses) extend their deepest sympathy.
Sylvia, Brad & Kara, and Stephie..
We were saddened to hear of Ken’s passing. He has been a very good friend for almost 60 years. We fondly remember the fun times we have had together skiing, camping, flying, and playing bridge. We know you will all remember the good times with him.
With love, Bob and Sharon.
Our sincere condolences to Sylvia and family. I remember when you first met Ken when we were in high school, oh, those were the days. Ken was such a good sport with all of the fun we had as a group of high school friends. The wonderful memories of all the special occasions, trips and family will bring you all comfort, peace and smiles in each quiet moment.
May God enfold you all with love as you embark your journey of loss and grief. Ken will be dearly missed by so many.
I remembered Ken when he was first hired as the CEO at Alberta Beverage Container Recycling Corporation and it was truly a pleasure working with him at the Recycling Affiliates meetings throughout the years.
A professional gentleman, always level headed and also enjoyed golf. He will be missed.
Our condolences to Sylvia, Bradley, Stephanie, Kara, Mason and Ryker as you grieve the death of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. May you find comfort in the memories and experiences each of you have shared with Ken over time. We recall our last meeting in the shade enjoying Stampede Park. Other memories fo back many years before that and are all happy ones.
Oh Sylvia. You and your family and the greater community have lost such a fine man, one who made such a positive impact in the lives of those he touched! My thoughts are with you, Bradley and Stephanie. May Ken be at peace.

Sylvia, Bradley & Stephanie. Words cannot describe the loss you are feeling know, and my condolences are with you. Ken was one of the best men I ever had the privilege of knowing and working with. He taught me a lot of what it meant to be a good person and to look for win-win solutions only. I will miss him.

Sylvia and family,
I am very sorry for your loss. Although I never knew your husband I know I would have liked him because he knew and loved horses. As time passes, savour the memories.

Sylvia and family, my deepest sympathy in the passing of your husband and father and grandpa. You spoke so highly of him and took such awesome care of him in the last few weeks.
May you find strength to help you along the path in such a difficult time.
Dear Sylvia, Brad, Stephanie and Kara,
I know just how much you will all miss Ken as he was a wonderful person who was very generous with his time and energy. My daughters will remember going to the rodeo with Uncle Ken and horse-back riding on Nose Hill. I remember him teaching me his famous pancake recipe so that you, Syl, and he could sleep in on Saturday morning and not be awakened by my early morning singing in the next room! I remember Ken treating us to wonderful meals at Hy’s Steak House and flying us to Disneyland in his plane. He will be missed but also remembered with fondness and love. May your own memories of Ken sustain you all and give you the strength to continue. Much love, Kathy, Jenne and Sara
On behalf of the Rotary Club of Calgary (Downtown) I wish to offer our sincere condolences. Ken was a long standing member of our club and an integral part of our Rotary family. When members are committed to our club as Ken was through his long standing service, it is a testimonial to how caring a person he was. He will be sadly missed.

Dear Sylvia and family,
Ken was a vibrant, passionate, loving human being, a gift to all of us. Gord and I will always treasure those lunches we shared with Ken and others after the Sunday morning worship services. Laughter filled the restaurant and we always lingered because there was just one more story to share. We hold you all close in our hearts. Ken was and shall forever be a ‘prince of a man.’
Love Linda and Gord Hunter
