Obituary of Bryant (Barney) Allan Rudolph

November 15, 1957 – Calgary, Alberta

November 16, 2021 – Calgary Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bryant (Barney) Rudolph, a beloved father, adored grandfather and cherished friend, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the age of 64 years.

Barney - or Barn, as he was known to family and close friends was born and raised in Calgary, AB. Barney attended SAIT and graduated as a carpenter. For most of his career Barney was self employed, having his own company allowed him to apply his trade and share his talents with others, and have the freedom and flexibility to focus on his love for the outdoors. Whenever possible, Barney could be found camping, hunting, fishing or just cruising around enjoying the outdoors on his quad with his best buddy and nephew, Roy. As a skilled hunter and bow hunter, Barney shared many laughs, dreams and stories with his friends during trips away from the city. He was the first to offer a helping hand, cook Christmas dinners, stock the pond with fish, and bring his tools when he came for a visit.

Barney is survived by his spouse Janice; his children, Mitch, Jason, Melinda, Danielle, and Tyler; and grandchildren, Alexandra, Devon, Tanya, Shawn, Phoenix, Rowan, Eli, James, and Matthew. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Lou, John, and Bob (Nancy). He was predeceased by his parents, Diane, and Bryant, first wife Brenda, and son Scott.
